What is Identity Intelligence?

Identity intelligence refers to the collection, analysis, and management of identity-related data to make informed decisions about security, access, and risk. Unlike basic identity verification, identity intelligence involves understanding patterns, detecting anomalies, and providing actionable insights. It integrates data from multiple sources, such as biometric information, behavioral patterns, device usage, and historical records.

Key Components of Identity Intelligence

A sensor is a device that detects and measures a physical or chemical quantity in its environment (such as light, heat, motion, or pressure) and converts this information into a usable signal, typically an electrical or optical signal.

In essence, every sensor is a type of transducer because it converts energy from one form (the physical quantity) to another (the electrical signal).

Signal Conditioning: The electrical signal is amplified, filtered to remove noise, and often converted from an Analog signal (continuous values) to a Digital signal (discrete values) by an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) for processing by a computer or microcontroller.
